Join Trout Unlimited and other organizations for Lassen County Climate Action Day. Build community, get hands-on with restoration science, and learn fire-resilient restoration principles. Have fun, get your hands dirty, and be part of something meaningful that has a lasting impact in your community! All skill levels are welcome!

Volunteers will have the opportunity work with and to learn from professionals in watershed restoration and fire mitigation. We will use fire-resilient restoration techniques applicable to communities in the Sierra Nevada, Cascades, and beyond.

 Participants are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle, appropriate outdoor clothing, suitable waterproof footwear, sun protection, and work gloves.

 Catered lunch at 1:30 PM.

Volunteers with the Feather River Chapter of Trout Unlimited will scour the banks for trash along the Middle Fork of the Feather River between Graeagle and Blairsden on Saturday September 21, from 8:30 AM to noon.

The chapter invites local residents and visitors to take part in keeping this beautiful river clean and healthy.

Volunteers will meet at the old Blairsden – Graeagle bridge at 8:30. Participants should bring work gloves. Waders or rubber boots are optional. Feather River Trout Unlimited will supply trash bags.
